Your Guides

Deanna Renee Falge
Thrive Young Leaders Founder
Nature-based Mentor & Life Coach, Rites of Passage Guide, Dance Facilitator
Deanna is passionate about supporting young women through transition into young adulthood by guiding them into deep and meaningful relationship with the Earth, their body, their self, and community. She was introduced to the world of wilderness rites of passage through her first ceremony with the School of Lost Borders, during which she initiated herself into young womanhood. This journey changed her life forever, and confirmed that she wanted to offer the same opportunity to other teens and young women.
Deanna has formal education in Biological Psychology from UC Santa Barbara, and is a certified Professional Life Coach (NCC), Transformational Wilderness Guide (TWG), Ecotherapist, Embodiment Facilitator, Dancer, and Ecstatic Dance DJ. She has years of training and experience working with teens and young adults in outdoor education, rites of passage, women's empowerment, wilderness survival, community building, mindfulness, dance, and embodiment facilitation!
When she is not guiding, Deanna loves to play in the ocean, surf, dance, climb oak trees, play music, sing, tend fires, weave baskets, and identify wild plants!
